REGATTA RUSH Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
REGATTA RUSH is published by Daniel Parsons. For privacy questions or requests, contact dantp1980@googlemail.com or Danparsons@sail-assist.com.
Information stored on your device
The game stores settings, boat designs and names, custom courses, tutorial progress, workshop state and single-player race records locally on your device. Single-player saves are not sent to the game operator. The game does not request an account, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings or payment information. The reviewed project contains no advertising or analytics SDK.
Private multiplayer rooms
When internet rooms are enabled, the game sends the boat/player display name, private room code, selected course and layout, ready/start state, steering and challenge inputs, race snapshots and results to the Cloudflare room relay and participants in that room. Other room members can see the display name and race information. Choose a non-identifying boat name and do not share a room code publicly.
Cloudflare processes network connection data, including source IP address, to deliver and protect the connection. The Worker uses the source IP as an in-memory connection-rate-limit key; expired keys are pruned on a later connection request after the 10-minute rate window. The Worker does not write IP addresses to room storage or forward them to players. Persisted Worker invocation logs are disabled in the deployed configuration. No regional-processing restriction is configured; Cloudflare may process connection metadata on its network under its privacy policy.
The relay stores room membership and course state for rematches. State is deleted when the host closes or disconnects; an inactive room is deleted after six hours, checked by an alarm every 15 minutes. Race snapshots/results are passed to participants and are not intentionally retained as a player history by the Worker. Participants may retain information they see.
Internet multiplayer is experimental. A complete race between app clients on different networks has not yet been verified; this is a key beta test and operation is not guaranteed on every network.
How information is used
Room information is used to create and operate a private race, synchronize play, show race state/results and recover a disconnected guest with a bot. It is shared with other room participants and Cloudflare as the relay provider. There is no public matchmaking, friends list, advertising or global ranking service in this beta. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices and requests
You can use single-player without an account and avoid online processing by not hosting or joining an internet room. Local saves can be removed by deleting the app and its data. For a privacy request, contact dantp1980@googlemail.com or Danparsons@sail-assist.com; include a room code and approximate time if known, and do not send sensitive information.
Changes
This policy will be updated if data practices or providers change. The published version includes its effective date and publisher contact.
